For Textile and Sustainability meeting on July 20, 2026

The meeting "For Textile and Sustainability: New Initiatives for the Como Textile District" was well attended, held on July 20, 2026, at the CTSS – Centro Tessile Serico Sostenibile (Sustainable Silk Textile Center).

We would like to thank the numerous For Textile member companies and the Filiera Tessile Group companies who participated in the event, confirming their strong interest in sustainability, regulatory compliance, and innovation in the textile sector.
The meeting was an opportunity to present the new features of the Indicators platform and illustrate the opportunity, active from September 2026, for companies that choose to adopt this tool to monitor and manage their ESG performance.

• Corrado Ferrario, President of the For Textile Management Committee, who presented the new "Club Chemical and Sustainability Manager" initiative;
• Dr. Nicola Di Bella (TÜV Rheinland Group Italia), for her presentation on the practical approach to sustainability in businesses;
• Veronica Porcu (STAR ​​– High Business Performance), for her in-depth discussion of Green Claims in the textile sector and appropriate environmental reporting;
• Alessandra Orsenigo (CTSS – Sustainable Silk Textile Center), who presented updates to the Indicators platform, developed as part of the Environmental, Social, and Governance Quality Standards Project in the Textile Sector.
