Focused on a production increasingly oriented towards sustainability, Tessitura Attilio Imperiali offers a wide range of fabrics to a sustainable luxury fashion market, starting with its two most well-known products of its rich catalog: art.1004 Raso Imperiali and art.3212 Olona Canvas, ​​using for their production GOTS organic silk, EcoVero ™ viscose, GRS and OCS cotton. The products portfolio then includes other articles such as Bamboo Fiber Satin, Organic Silk Razmir, Recycled Drill or Sustainable Panama, just to name a few. Making fabrics that respect the environment and the well-being of the person means first of all adopting environmentally friendly production processes based on reducing energy consumption (from water consumption to CO2 emissions), in order to considerably reduce the impact of industrial activity.

This is the path taken by Attilio Imperiali, a company that has in its DNA the vocation for innovation that has revealed itself, in this green oriented approach, in the introduction and use of natural and certified, ecological and renewable raw materials.

Concrete actions

An important step in this project was the signing, in 2014, of the Greenpeace Detox protocol, an international program aimed at eliminating all toxic substances for the environment and for humans from the fashion supply chain. In its commitment Tessitura Attilio Imperiali has not limited itself to removing some elements from production, but by extending its purposes, it has worked to sensitize its suppliers and stakeholders both in Italy and abroad, so that they adopt the same program.

In the wake of this initiative, Attilio Imperiali has also started a collaboration with Rete Clima®, an environmental non-profit organization, in order to account for and offset the carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted by its business activities. An integral part of this action are the renaturalization and urban forestation projects of the local territory, which give immediate and tangible realization to the compensation project. This planning not only supports the territoriality around the company, but helps to fighrt climate change through a participatory and effective campaign.
